This privacy policy describes how AM Collision & Towing (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles information when you use AM Collision & Towing Calculators at https://calculator.amcollisionandtowing.com (the “Site”).

Calculator inputs. All seven calculators run entirely in your browser. The values you enter (damage type, distance, VIN, make/model, etc.) are not transmitted to our servers and are not stored.
Contact form. If you submit the contact form on https://calculator.amcollisionandtowing.com/contact, we collect your name, email address, and message so we can reply. This data is stored in our secure database and used only for that purpose.
Automatically collected information. Our hosting provider and analytics tools may log standard request data (IP address, browser type, referrer, page viewed, timestamp) to keep the Site secure and measure traffic.
2. Cookies
We use a minimal set of cookies. Strictly necessary cookies keep the Site working; analytics cookies (if enabled, see Section 3) help us understand which pages are useful. You can clear cookies in your browser at any time.
3. Google Analytics
We may use Google Analytics 4 to measure aggregate, anonymized usage of the Site. GA4 sets cookies and processes data on Google's servers. We have IP anonymization enabled. To opt out, install the Google Analytics Opt-out browser add-on or block analytics cookies in your browser.
4. Third-party links and affiliates
The VIN Decoder includes an optional link to a vehicle history report partner (CARFAX). If you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Once you click an outbound link, that third party's privacy policy governs your data on their site.

We use the information we collect to operate and improve the Site, respond to inquiries, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.
6. Data retention
Contact form submissions are retained for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and for our internal records. You can ask us to delete your submission at any time by emailing us via the contact form.
